Feijoa Jam - Easy Peasy!

Feijoa Jam. Gently simmer feijoas with water, mashing every now and then, till pulpy. After collecting roughly 8 kilos of Fiejoas in 2 days from our monster tree it was time to make jam. I cut it and place it in a pot with water, lemon juice and a little sugar, and as soon as the water start frothing I drain it, keeping the pink water to make syrups and liqueurs, and the rhubarb for pies, muffins or for the breakfast cereals
